The project demanded the creation of 3D models for both the decoder remote control and the decoder itself. This involved meticulous attention to detail, accurate dimensions, and a focus on achieving a realistic representation of the devices. The final models serve as valuable assets for visualizing and producing the physical devices.

Two devices one project

I received a physical model of a device and proceeded to take photos of it. Using Photoshop, I dimensioned the photos to their real-life scale. From there, I began modeling the object in 3D based on the dimensioned photos. Dimensioning the photos in Photoshop allowed me to accurately transfer the real-world measurements of the physical model into my 3D modeling software. This was crucial in ensuring that the final 3D model would be an exact replica of the physical device, with all the details and measurements accurately represented.
